A couple of in-between projects

Here's a couple of things I've done in the last few months.



Originally conceived in writing class and never meant to be anything more than a tossed off two page script, I struck upon the idea (I forget how) of turning it into a Jackanory-style animation.

This is a friend's project that she directed and I acted in and am working on the sound design (which is unfinished, but nearly done). (EDIT: This is shot on 16mm film)

Jack-off-anory - wow... you really are a mad-crazy-bastard!!! but I was laughing all the way through it! Seriously though, it could do with being a bit shorter/tighter, as it got slack in the middle, and no I'm not talking about the Fleshlight!

The Interview - As it currently stands, the sound and lighting are poor (IMHO). Thought the script was good and the dialogue was witty, again made me laugh. You'll have to ask Nicola if she wants it on Exposure Shorts Podcast once its complete?

Interview didn't really do it for me on any level, but Jack appealed immensely to my puerile side.

With a voice like yours you should do something about Thomas The Tank Engine .... hmmmmm .... Thomas and his magic fleshlight ....

Funny story behind the Fleshlight.

There's a guy who is/was in my class at uni, but he hasn't been into lectures since the beginning of October. He lives with a couple of other people on our course.

Anyway, they heard that there was a flat inspection going on and this guy had gone home so they went into his room to find his bong and hide it. That's where they found the Fleshlight.

And promptly told everyone and anyone they came across [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I'm still working on the sound for The Interview, but it's kinda fallen by the wayside. I wasn't the editor and it's his cut that is handed in, so it's not high on my agenda at the moment.

I'll ask Nicola if she wants to podcast it [img]biggrin.gif[/img] If anyone has/knows of any public domain, cheesy as fuck muzak akin to what's in the flick at the moment, I'd appreciate a line about it.
